One Total Insurance Solution, Inc. (ONE) has a dedicated team of professionals ready to assist you. As your consultant, we will act as a liaison between you and all vendors involved. Our vital services listed below will help you manage and prepare for your annual Health and Welfare renewals.
  • Frequent updates of current trends.
  • Carrier and third party administrator negotiations of rates and benefits.
  • Monitor benefit programs, if necessary recommend alternative options.
  • Make sure reserve levels are appropriate for self-funded plans.
  • Assist in protecting plan assets with specific recommendations.

Extended Services Include:
  • Notify you of any new legislative and judicial proceedings. Educational materials and support will be provided if the impact is due to benefit plans, emerging plan designs, and trends within the employee benefit market.
  • Dedicated Account Manager to help employees with escalated claims/benefit plan problems.
  • Create communication pieces to provide to employees.
  • Help to prepare and attend all committee or sub-committee meetings.
  • Education on self-funding and Stop Loss, its advantages/disadvantages, the pros and cons of certain policy options.
  • Report and prepare monthly reports of each benefit plan including: loss ratio report data, claims analysis, utilization, paid premium, trends, and experience. If necessary will provide assessments and/or recommendations.
  • Will attend the Board of Education meetings, if necessary.
  • Present all new hire orientation and open enrollment meetings. This service is offered on a group or one on one basis. Additional team members available to help, if necessary.
  • Coordinate health fairs and open enrollment meetings.
  • Provide benefit seminars to educate employee and/or retirees.
  • Escalated bill reconciliation.
  • Aid in Government filings and submission as necessary.
  • Evaluate for effective cost containment, actuarial soundness of established reserves for IBNR and fairness of contract terms/language.
  • Aid vendors with preparation of plan documents and any future amendments.
  • Analysis of administrative charges.
  • Review contract terms/language, if necessary will recommend changes to enhance benefits and attractiveness while maintaining plan cost.
  • Collect and analyze data in order to help market the coverage based on actual plan utilization. This approach creates an environment where little used benefits can be replaced with services that are more targeted on the population
  • Negotiate with vendors to improve renewal increases based on claim and utilization data provided.
  • If requested, market benefit plans for upcoming renewal. At which time proposals will be ranked and cost analysis will be provided to which alternative will provide the most cost effective benefit plan.

  • Communicate with you to accommodate expected timetables for RFP process including open enrollment and payroll data entry.
  • Recommend Retiree benefit options to help funding of the Retiree plan.
  • Aid PBMs and TPAs on disease management and wellness which could result in a possible decrease in claims cost.
  • Review contracts for accuracy after changes have been made.
  • Aid you in preparation of budget figures.
  • Semi-Annual reports identifying/tracking any emerging trends, and prepare special studies and reports as requested.
  • Provide electronic support to employees regarding benefit questions or concerns.
  • Provide analysis on plan modifications when bargaining with unions.
  • Online availability during open enrollment to find providers.
  • Assist with terminating and adding new hires to the various vendors.
  • Aid employees with provider issues.
  • Educate employees to understand their benefits and how to maximize their benefit dollars.
  • Network disruption reports will be provided to ensure little disruption, when marketing benefits.

All these services will require additional cost by the Specialty Vendor. ONE will not accept any type of contribution from these vendors.

Renewal Vendor Negotiations

ONE will immediately work with you to prepare the upcoming renewal and the appropriate timeframes needed to prepare and complete an organized and budgeted renewal. ONE is in communication with the various vendors, as early as six to seven months before, to obtain anticipated rates. We will discuss claims data, utilization, disease management, and wellness with the vendors. Based on the data provided, we will conduct further negotiations with vendors in order to obtain the lowest and most fair rate possible for you.


Online Eligibility Service

ONE, in combination with several different TPAs and carriers, offers a complete online employee benefit package. These systems are designed to assist in the administration of the following, but are not limited to, online benefit enrollment, bill reconciliation, payments to carriers, claim status, reporting and analysis of plans, COBRA administration, and consolidated billing.

ONE's Additional Services

  • Group Sales - Our Group Sales department offers benefits to small and large group clients in all industries. We specialize in several different funding options; Fully-Insured, Self-Insured, and Partially Self-Insured. We handle medical, dental, vision, prescription, chiropractic, acupuncture, and other supplemental employer paid plans. * Cost is included in the fixed compensation arrangement.
  • Stop Loss & Underwriting - ONE contracts with OneSource StopLoss, which specializes in reinsurance for Self-Insured and Partially Self-Insured clients. As our stop loss consultant, OneSource works closely with our team, each client�s third party administrator (TPA), and the stop loss carrier. Throughout the year, they actively monitor the claims utilization, identify potential large claims, provide claims analysis reports, oversee stop loss claims, and work to secure future stop loss renewals. * There is no additional cost to self fund your plans. There will be a commission of 10% added to your stop loss plan. We can arrange a fixed fee on this service instead of a commission.
  • Medicare Plans - Our Medicare department offers expert representatives that specialize in Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement Plans, as well as Prescription Drug Plans. Our services are available to any Medicare eligible individuals. We also offer on-site educational workshops. * Our Medicare support is included in the fixed compensation arrangement. If the individuals decided to get a supplemental policy there will be commission paid.
  • Voluntary Benefits - ONE contracts with Worksite Specialists, which specializes in life, disability, cancer, accident, critical illness, Section 125, and many others. Worksite Specialists has helped many employers save on their payroll taxes, lower their workers compensation costs, increase their benefit offerings to their employees at little to no cost, which in turn helps them attract and retain quality employees. * There is commission added to all voluntary benefits. These commission amounts can be discussed at the time proposed.
  • Pensions & Investments - ONE offers 401k plans, IRA�s, defined benefit plans, and many others. These pension and investment plans are offered to all types and sizes of groups. * There is commission added to pension and investments. These commission amounts can be discussed at the time proposed.
  • Individual Benefit Plans - The agency offers individual medical, dental and life. These benefits are good for terminated employees or dependants, which are no longer eligible under the plan. If an employee or the dependants would like additional life insurance, they can be provided with an individual policy. * Individual plans do have commission paid. The commission is approximately 10%.
  • Property & Casualty - We offer general liability, workers compensation, professional liability, directors & officers liability, (epli) employment practices liability, umbrellas, and many specialty programs to cover your business. We also write all personal lines insurance so that you can have one agency when you have any insurance needs. * There is commission added to these services. We can discuss the commission arrangement at time of proposal.
  • HR Services - Our HR department will provide you with benefit guides, new regulations and laws, a free online website to utilize, and a representative to help answer any questions you may have. * The cost varies depending on how much utilization is necessary.
  • Legal Services - We have several different attorneys that work with our agency. We have one stationed in house, which would be offered to you as our client. * Our attorneys are paid by the hour and the prices vary depending on the necessity.
  • Payroll Services - Our payroll service is in house to help coordinate with your workers compensation and any voluntary benefits you offer. If you utilize ONE as your total business solution, you will not have to communicate payroll for your benefits, everything would be under ONE! * Depending on the depth of service, we can arrange a very affordable payroll cost.
